NPD holds medical, dental mission on Labor Day


The Northern Police District (NPD) conducted on Sunday, May 1, a medical and dental mission in Caloocan, which served 314 residents, including children.

The activity, which was part of the Labor Day celebration, was held at the covered court of Barangy 18 where the cops also provided food packs, medicines, and toys to the recipients.

Police said the mission was done in cooperation with the Caloocan City Health Department and Barangay 18 health workers.

Members of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Intersex, and Asexual (LGBTQIA+) from the Malabon City Police Station offered free haircut to the beneficiaries, while Mr. Randy Maderal, Confederate Sentinels of God Northern Sector team leader, donated medicines.

Present at the event were Brig. Gen. Ulysses Cruz, NPD director; Col. Moises Villaceran Jr., deputy district director for operations; Col. Alan Manibog; Chief District Directorial Staff; Col. Salvador Destura, District Comptrollership chief; Lt. Col. Fatima Banania, District Dental and Medical Unit chief; Col. Ariel Capocao, District Community Affairs and Development Division chief, and other police personnel.

Cruz thanked the residents for their participation and also reminded them of the importance of health awareness as well as maintaining the cleanliness of the environment.
