FASHION PULIS: Too good to be real

After a failed relationship, the family of Versatile Personality (VP) gave all the love and support for her to get over the experience.

Thus, when VP found her Mr. Forever (MF), her family welcomed him like a son. He would have sleepover privileges, as they were impressed at his attitude. MF was polite and kind, which placed him notches above the previous partners of VP. A parent of VP became close to MF, too.

Just as when things were moving well, the cliché, ‘too good to be true,’ started to manifest. MF was spotted dining with a woman. When VP was told about it, she said it was probably just a business meeting and dismissed the story. Then, her friends saw MF in a popular vacation spot. They called VP to ask if she’s around with VP. VP said she was busy with work. They said that they wanted to verify if she were around before approaching MF.

VP was puzzled because MF told her he was going to another location. VP confronted MF about the sighting and he said it might be a case of mistaken identity. VP again dismissed the story and continued to trust MF despite knowing that her friends have met MF before and surely would not fail in identifying him.

One day, VP was shopping when she saw from afar MF with a woman in the Maternity Section. Her breeding took over and instead of making a scandal, she smiled at MF and the woman. VP walked away. It was over.

VP’s parent learned of the breakup and asked for the reason. Not wanting to hurt her parent, VP said that she and MF had differences and the breakup was bound to happen.

Murphy’s Law

Shooting during the pandemic is not easy. Every step relies on careful planning and making sure everyone is synchronized. The production team and cast members follow a strict schedule that includes quarantine time on top of actual shooting days. Hence, time is highly regarded.

Sometimes, anything that can go wrong will go wrong, as per Murphy’s Law. A twist resulted in Talkative Actor (TA) finding his schedule disrupted. TA had to air his sentiments to production people, who said that his presence was dispensable and any actor can fill his shoes.

TA then talked to His Bestfriend (HB). HB was in the midst of a project and was reminded that no calls should be taken prior to facing the camera. Distractions, such as emotional phone calls, could affect the performance of the talent. Even if TA was so into the conversation, HB had to cut it short. TA had to make do with the little time HB could give.

Nonetheless, to appease TA, the management assured a forthcoming project will definitely include him.
