Donny and Belle, whose onscreen love team dubbed as “DonBelle”, appeared at the multisectoral meeting of Robredo and Pangilinan held at Don Bosco multi-purpose gym in Canlubang.

The couple sang their theme song "Sigurado" which sent the audience into frenzy.

“We are proud Kakampinks,” said the celebrity love team.

“First time namin ni Belle kumanta (It’s my first time with Belle to sing) in front of everyone. Sabi namin pwede kaya nating isurprise to? (We said can we make this as a surprise?),” said Donny.

“We just want to say that we are into Leni and Kiko,” he added.

The heartthrob actor, nephew of Pangilinan, has gone on a house-to-house campaign to show his support for the tandem advocating for good governance.

He was joined by Belle in Baguio City earlier this month. DonBelle wore matching Leni-Kiko shirts while distributing flyers and pink rubber bracelets among residents.

In Paete, Pangilinan said a Robredo presidency will be pro-active in solving tthe country’s problems in agriculture by going directly to farmers in their farms.

“Kinakailangan dalhin ang DA (Department of Agriculture) sa mga pinakamaliliit at malalayong mga barangay. Hindi pupwedeng naroroon lamang sa mga tanggapan. Kulang ang extension service (We have to bring the DA in the smallest and farthest communities. It just can’t only be in the offices. The extension service is lacking),” said Pangilinan.

“Sabi nga ni Maam Leni, bibigyan natin ng tsinelas ang gobyerno para umabot sa mga liblib na lugar at magkaroon talaga ng maliwanag na programang maiimplementa para sa sektor ng mga magsasaka (Like what Maam Leni said, we will give the government slippers to reach far-flung areas and to implement a clear program for the sector of farmers),” he added.

Focused on improving the lives of farmers and fisherfolk as well as the development of the agricultural sector, Pangilinan said a Robredo administration will also regulate rice importation, increase tariffs, and fully implement the Batas Sagip Saka on a national scale.
