Arrested were Sandy Romero, 25, a food delivery rider, his father Sunny Boy Guino-ohan, 47, and uncle Rudy Talabon, 56, all residents of Barangay Banago.

Romero is considered a high value individual, while his father is a street level individual, according to the police.

Lt. Joven Mogato, head of City Drug Enforcement Unit (CDEU), said that Romero had been placed under monitoring after they received reports about his alleged engagement in the illegal drug trade in the village.

Mogato said the illegal drugs were sourced out outside Western Visayas, and were being distributed here to their “clients” through his present occupation as a “front.”

Police also confiscated from them the P5,000 marked money.

The three, who have yet to be reached for comment, are detained at Police Station 3 for filing of drug charges.
