K-pop group Viviz performed on the Grammys’ Global Spin, a digital series that spotlights artists around the world.
Viviz, composed of Eunha, composed of Eunha, SinB and Umji, became the first K-pop idol group to be selected to appear on Global Spin.
“We may live in an era where cultural borders are vanishing, but have you ever considered K-pop with Latin rhythms? If not, feast your ears on Viviz. With flowers in their hair and a troupe of dancers in tow, the Viviz girls deliver a flawless performance — one that’ll get you moving right along with them,” Grammy.com wrote.
Viviz performed “Bop Bop!” at the Dongdaemun Design Plaza in Seoul, which is a major landmark and tourist spot.
The girl group’s Global Spin is part of their pre-debut campaign for their entry into the US market. Viviz’s Global Spin was released on YouTube on April 26.
“That video was incredible,” one Grammys insider was quoted as saying and added that they were “excited for upcoming Global Spin.”
Viviz earlier announced that they teamed up with an American label to release a remix version of “Bop Bop!” with American DJ Yves V on April 28.
“Currently, VIVIZ is planning to undergo a ‘pre-debut’ for a successful US debut ahead of signing a contract with a well-known American label, and is waiting for a US debut that is unprecedented,” an insider at BPM said.
Eunha, SinB and Umji were previously part of K-pop girl group GFriend.
