UniTeam invades CDO, supposed 'RoSa' city

CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY, Misamis Oriental--On Tuesday night, April 26, the UniTeam alliance of presidential bet Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos and her running mate Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte led a rally in Cagayan de Oro City, a supposed hotbed of the "RoSa" (Leni Robredo-Sara Duterte) movement.

The Marcos-Duterte alliance took over Pelaez Sports Complex in Cagayan De Oro in an attempt to garner some last-minute votes in the last two weeks before the national elections on May 9.

Cagayan De Oro is supposedly a territory that favors to the odd coupling of opposition leader, Vice President Robredo and Duterte, or the RoSa tandem for short.

It was here that House Deputy Speaker and Cagayan De Oro 2nd district Rep. Rufus Rodriguez, Albay 2nd Rep. Joey Salceda, and Zamboanga City Mayor Beng Climaco-Salazar first declared their support for the RoSa tandem.

Marcos and Duterte, as usual, preached their flagship rhetoric of unity and colorless politics.

At one point, Duterte camped on one side of the stage to take selfies and sign autographs, prompting supporters to crowd the media box.

There are 372,293 registered voters in Cagayan De Oro City.

Just 13 days remain before the national elections.
