Pasay PNP ready for Robredo’s birthday rally on April 23


A total of 1,019 policemen from the Pasay City police and the Southern Police District (SPD) will be deployed around Macapagal Boulevard on Saturday, April 23, to secure the area for the birthday rally of presidential candidate Vice President Leni Robredo.

According to Pasay City police chief Col. Cesar Paday-os, a site inspection and coordination meeting were held on Thursday, April 21, to ensure that no untoward incident will happen during the Leni-Kiko grand rally.

Paday-os said around 15 plain clothes policemen from the Pasay City police will be deployed during the event.

He added that the SPD will also deploy plainclothes policemen.

Paday-os said around 150 members of the Pasay Parking Traffic Management Office (PPTMO) will also be deployed to help in manning the traffic from Roxas Boulevard to Buendia Avenue.

He said the stage for the big event of the Leni-Kiko rally will be placed near the World Trade Center in Buendia Avenue.
