Chooks-to-Go Pilipinas 3x3 is hosting the second FIBA 3x3 Asia Pacific Super Quest from April 30 to May 1 at the Ayala Mall Solenad’s Activity Center in Sta. Rosa Laguna.
The top 12 3x3 teams in Asia are set to compete in the Level 8 FIBA 3x3 event that offers a slot in the 2022 Manila World Tour Masters and a $10,000 top prize.
It will be the first event in the busy calendar year for Chooks-to-Go 3x3 with the Manila Masters slated on May 28-29 and the Cebu Masters in October.
"Being the global partner of FIBA 3x3, Chooks-to-Go is not just responsible for helping elevate the Philippine 3x3 game but also for the region," said Chooks-to-Go president Ronald Mascariñas.
"The Asia Pacific Super Quest is just one of at least three international events we plan to hold for the calendar year. Besides being a qualifier for the Manila Masters, we are hoping that this tournament will also serve as part of the build-up for our ASEAN neighbors for the 31st Southeast Asian Games," the long-time sports patron continued.
Cebu Chooks is one of the two teams expected to don the country’s colors in the two-day event.
Back in the first edition of the tournament, Japan's Tokyo Dime won the tournament, defeating Balanga Chooks in the finals 22-20.
