Rape suspect arrested in Pasay City


A rape suspect was arrested by members of the Pasay City police Warrant and Subpoena Section (WSS) after a manhunt operation launched against wanted persons with pending warrants of arrest on Monday, April 18.

Col. Cesar Paday-os, city police chief, said the suspect identified as Renato Sudario, 46, was arrested at about 1:00 p.m. along Balagtas St., Pasay City.

Paday-os said the suspect was arrested after a warrant of arrest was issued against him on March 18 by Judge Albert Cansino, of Pasay City Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 108 with no bail recommended.

The city police chief said Sudario the Top 9 most wanted person for the second quarter of 2022.

Southern Police District (SPD) Director Brig. Gen. Jimili Macaraeg said the arrest of Sudario is a result of perseverance of all police units under the southern Metro Manila to arrest all wanted persons.

Macaraeg said it is their mandate and duty to ensure that justice will be served to the victims of crimes.
