ZAMBOANGA CITY -- Authorities seized some P5.26-million worth of smuggled cigarettes in Barangay Caparan, Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay last Saturday, April 16.
The 402 cases of smuggled cigarettes were loaded in two vehicles driven by Hamid Pallong y Laja and Radzmir Ainami, according to the report by Area Police Command-Western Mindanao (APC-WM).
The seized items, the suspects and vehicles were turned over to the Ipil Municipal Police Station before they are turned over to the Bureau of Customs.
The operation was conducted by APC-WM together with the 903rd Mobile Force and the Ipil Municipal police.
