UniTeam’s Estrada highlights increase in OCTA poll ranking

UniTeam senatorial bet Jinggoy Estrada has highlighted his rank increase in the recent OCTA Research Tugon ng Masa (TNM) senatorial preference survey.

The survey was conducted from April 2 to April 6 and sampled 1,200 registered likely voters from the A, B, C, D, and E socio-economic classes.

In the most recent April OCTA survey, Estrada took 9th place, placing him in the so-called “Magic 12” of Senate picks.

About 42 percent of the sampled 1,200 voters named him as one of their Senate picks, and all of the sample voters were also aware of his candidacy.

Previously, OCTA conducted a similar preference survey last February in which Estrada ranked 11th overall and took 37 percent of the sample preference.

“I thank all my supporters for the continuing trust. Should I succeed in my re-election bid, I promise to work hard to ensure the passage of laws that provide better pay and benefits and promote the rights and welfare of Filipino workers,” Estrada said in a statement on Monday, April 18.

He previously served as a Senator from 2004 to 2016 and is currently seeking re-election under the UniTeam ticket led by presidential bet Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. and running mate Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte.
