BRAD, Globe Telecom Group's on-demand logistics business, is now gearing up to expand nationwide within the year.
BRAD, established amid high demand for delivery services during the pandemic, is a shared services provider under the Asticom Group of Companies, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Globe Group.
BRAD spent the first quarter of the year covering Metro Manila and nearby provinces.
By the second quarter of 2022, it plans to expand to the rest of Luzon and then to Visayas and Mindanao in the second half of 2022.
Currently, the company has more than 30 merchants in its portfolio and over 150 riders based in different localities.
It expects to grow the number "significantly" with its ongoing expansion, according to General Manager Richie Santos.
“What we want to highlight for BRAD is convenience," he explained.
"We’re focusing on expanding the channels we have right now to serve Small and Medoum Enterprises (SMEs), especially homegrown businesses and communities, given the limited options for on-demand logistics solutions in the provinces.”
BRAD provides a wide range of logistical services tailored to fit the needs of businesses from various industries such as health and wellness, food and beverage, e-commerce, and telecommunications.
It also looks into the education, medical, pharmaceutical, and hospitality sectors.
Although it mostly caters to large corporate clients, BRAD also hopes to become a trusted partner of the SME market.
It connects businesses to consumers by delivering essential items such as medicine, groceries, personal care items, appliances, gadgets, household care, and home essentials.
The company explores more opportunities in the e-commerce space as a tech-enabled provider of end-to-end supply chain technology solutions.
