Topyugo executives met with HP Singapore and DTI for biggest collaboration in SME development in the Philippines

Topyugo’s CEO and President, Jhopet Fines, with his managing partner, COO and Senior Executive for Operations, Raffy Canare met the HP Asia Pacific & Japan Headquarters / HP Center for Excellence General Manager, Arnon Goldman; and Norde International Distributions head, Cherry Santos, in Singapore together with the top executives of the Philippine Government’s Department of Trade and Industry Executives led by Usec. Lantayona; Asec. Dephna Du Naga; Regional Director IVA, Marissa Argente; Laguna Provincial Director Clark Nebrao; and Former RD, Malou Toledo.

Topyugo, DTI, Norde and HP / Indigo Singapore will collaborate in setting up the first and only, modern state of the art indigo facility that will pave way for the Philippines primary economic zone for MSME Development on Print, Packaging, Digital Marketing and E-Commerce Hub. This will bring global standard packaging and design services to the developing MSMEs in the country.

The company has proven the importance of integrating new approaches and modern technology in packaging and design through the results of the company’s performance.  With its seasoned practice and application, Topyugo is geared to share its best practices to its collaborators to enable them to increase their sales and performance. This is another game-changer since the company’s intention is to boost the economic activity of our local enterprises in the online marketing space. The overwhelming competition both in the traditional and online market is the key reason why this technology is important. A certain business may lose opportunities if they will not update their business process and approach. Hence, the organization is truly determined to jumpstart this project to keep the MSMEs abreast with the fast-changing business environment.

Multi-billion growth is expected to affect the MSME sector once this technology is in full swing. This will continue to activate new players and will provide greater capacity building for the businesses and employment to many Filipinos which is part of the inclusive growth objective of the government.  “Helping our local retailers through modern technology is one of the priorities of Topyugo. As the pioneer in ecommerce retail, we want to see the Filipino enterprises compete not just in the quality of finished products that they offer but we want them to communicate world-class branding through global standard and modern packaging. HP Indigo’s technology will bring a new game in the science of packaging design to our Philippine brands”, cheerfully expressed by Topyugo’s CEO, Jhopet Fines who is also the Vice President of the Association of Filipino Franchisers Inc (AFFI) who is known of its strong advocacy in MSME Development.

“Topyugo’s growth is anchored in digital technology which makes our company relevant in bringing this service available in the Philippines. We started investing in the science of consumer behavior through packaging perception, this Indigo technology is another breakthrough not just for our business, but also for our MSME collaborators to whom we will share this new technology acquisition”, added by Raffy Canare, Topyugo’s managing partner and COO.

The Department of Trade and Industry Philippines has been championing the use of modern technology in uplifting the capacity and potential of our small enterprises led by its Secretary, Ramon Lopez. The HP Technology Meeting is happening until April 12 in Singapore.
