Together with 300 other volunteers from Mandaluyong, Aika visited Barangay Addition Hills in Mandaluyong City, a known bailiwick of former Mayor Benhur Abalos, the campaign manager of Ferdinand Marcos Jr.

Robredo's eldest daughter was greeted with some Marcos supporters' "V" sign. However, many still warmly received the Vice President's daughter and listened attentively as she discussed her mother's plans and programs for the country.

After Mandaluyong, Robredo did house-to-house campaigning and hundreds of volunteers at Barangay Corazon de Jesus in San Juan City, whose mayor, Francis Zamora, is a known Marcos supporter. Team Angat senatorial candidate Sonny Matula joined her in convincing residents to vote for Robredo.

"Nagpapasalamat ako dahil kahit Linggo ay kasama namin kayo. Kayo talaga ang puso ng kampanya dahil hindi tayo makakapag-ikot kung hindi namin kayo kasama (I am grateful because you joined us on a Sunday. You are the heart of the campaign because we cannot do this without you)," Aika told the volunteers after the activity.

“Iyong request ko lang, kahit hindi niyo ako kasama ituloy-tuloy natin ito araw-araw. itodo natin hanggang Mayo, para maipanalo natin ito (My only request is let us continue doing this everyday even when I'm not with you. Let's give it our all until May so we can win it)," she added.

The house-to-house campaign highlights the Vice President's "Oplan Angat Agad" platform, which is focused on employment, health, and education.

Under her "Oplan Angat Agad" platform, Robredo aims to ensure that at least one family member receives a monthly salary. At the same time, those who lost their job will get three-month financial assistance while looking for employment.

When it comes to health care, Robredo has committed to providing every family with a free doctor and making health care affordable for all Filipinos. She also aims to provide quality education to students to help them secure their dream jobs in the future.

'Tao sa Tao' campaign

Meanwhile, Mela Habijan, Kerwin King, Renz Saavedra, and other social media influencers trooped to the Balintawak Public Market on April 11 to campaign for Vice President Robredo.

The group reached out to people via the ‘Tao sa Tao’ strategy where they discuss why Robredo is the most qualified to be the next president with the hopes of converting more people to vote in her favor.
