Meanwhile, the battle of mammoth rallies between the leading presidential contenders continues with frontrunner former senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. reported to have drawn 150,000 supporters in UniTeam’s Grand Rally in his mother’s hometown of Tacloban, Leyte, and Vice President Leni Robredo said to have gathered 220,000 in her own campaign in San Fernando, Pampanga, both on Saturday night, April 9, 2022. Both crowd estimates were confirmed by the local Philippine National Police (PNP).
