Expect the Cool Smashers to keep their intact lineup after a successful Open Conference campaign where they swept all their eight matches to regain the crown.

So far, Creamline has three titles overall – in the 2018 Reinforced Conference and the 2019 Open Conference.

Alyssa Valdez, who was adjudged the Finals Most Valuable Player, said their familiarity with each other played a key role in their title bid.

“Since we’re familiar with each other, we were able to perform yung mga strategies na gusto ng coaches namin,” said Valdez.

The Cool Smashers drew the first blood of their best-of-three finals against the Petro Gazz Angels, 25-16, 23-25, 25-12, 32-30, before sealing the crown with a 25-18, 15-25, 25-23, 25-16 Game 2 victory Friday night.

Even Conference MVP Tots Carlos and Jema Galanza agreed their cohesion was an important part particularly in their finals affair.

“Sobrang tiwala ko sa mga teammates ko, grateful ako andyan sila palagi at lahat kami driven talaga to succeed this conference,” Carlos said.

“Teammates ko lang yung nasa isip ko, wala nang iba,” Galanza added.

Part of that intact lineup is the presence of four MVPs in Carlos, Valdez, Jia Morado and Galanza.

Organizer Sports Vision President Ricky Palou said they are eyeing to hold the Invitational Conference in July and the Reinforced Conference later this year.

They target the Reinforced Conference to be held in 10 weeks.
