Flag carrier Philippine Airlines (PAL) announced Friday, April 8, that it has increased its flights on several domestic routes in line with the uptick in travel demand this Holy Week.
Effective Friday, PAL said that flight frequency between Manila and Bacolod is now at five times a day from thrice a day while flight frequency between Cebu and Bacolod is now at four times a week from thrice weekly.
Flights between Manila and Basco, Batanes will now also be conducted twice per week from the previous once a week setting. Meanwhile, from the current three flights a day between Manila and Legazpi, Albay, the PAL will now operate four flights on each of the following days: April 13, 14, 17 and 18.
Further, from the current two flights a day between Manila and Busuanga (Coron), the PAL will operate three flights on April 14, 16, and 17
From the current two flights a day between Manila and Tagbilaran (Panglao), PAL will also operate three flights on April 13 and 14.
Lastly, the current one flight daily between Manila and Siargao will be increased to two flights on April 13 and 14.
The PAL advised all domestic travelers to check the travel requirements with the local government offices of both their origin point and final destination since these may be revised constantly and differ from province to province.
