Domagoso’s wife Dynee and son Joaquin joined his campaign event in Brgy. Guadalupe in Cebu City on Friday, April 8.

“Ako (I) recently kakabalik ko lang ng (just came back from) lock-in taping, I’m doing my best now to do what i can for the campaign. Listening to my mom and of course seeing the people, what’s more important is that we don’t stop and we keep on continuing what we’re doing because last month na eh, kaya tuloy na natin (let’s continue it),” said Joaquin, who is an actor, in a chance interview here.

“Kung hindi man po ako lumalabas to represent him kung may mga sorties, I stay in the office, ako yung mga tumutulong doon syempre at saka syempre sa funding (If I don't come out to represent him when there are sorties, I stay in the office, I am the one who helps there of course and also of course with funding),” said Dynee.

Dynee said she has always been very supportive of her husband since he started his bid for the presidency.

“So tuloy tuloy lang kami. Kasi mas naniniwala ako, kung nararamdaman niyo yung init ngayon dito, eto ba yung sinasabi ninyong mababa sa survey (So we will just keep going. Because I can feel the heat here right now, is this what you say that is low in the surveys)?” she said.

She also said Isko was very firm on his decisions, saying that if he believes in something he will fight for it.

“Kaya pag sinabi niyang ipaglalaban niya yung tao, naniniwala ako doon. Kasi pinagdaanan nya yung kahirapan. Gusto niyang iangat ang buhay ng lahat ng Pilipino (So when he said he would fight for the people, I believed that. Because he went through hardships. He wants to uplift the lives of all Filipinos),” she said.

“Compassion. The empathy. He knows what the people feel. Nararamdaman niya yung hirap, alam niya yung mga problema na dapat tutukan (He feels the hardship, he knows what are the problems to focus on)."
