A Ukrainian mother wrote her contact details on the back of her daughter in case her family gets killed by Russian troops and her daughter survives it.
In an instagram post, Sasha Makoviy said she wrote her details on the back of her daughter on the first day of the war after hearing the sound of explosions outside her home.
"I signed Vira in case something happened to us, and someone would pick her up as a survivor,” Makoviy said in Ukrainian language, adding she was trembling as she write the information.
“But why tell you? You already know what it's like to wake up to the deafening and powerful sounds of explosions that can be heard for tens of kilometers. I was shaking for the first hours like you,” she added.
Makoviy added she even thought of getting her details tattooed on her daughter.
“Then, even a crazy thought flashed through my mind "why didn't I tattoo her with this information?” she said.
In the second photo, Makoviy also showed a card with contact information of her family inside her daughter's pocket.
