MIAS marks return of auto shows with staging on April 7 at World Trade Center

As pandemic restrictions begin to ease, one of the most dearly missed events — auto shows — is making a return. There could be no better one to usher in this era than the Manila International Auto Show (MIAS).

The MIAS opens its doors to the motoring public this April 7-10, 2022 at the World Trade Center. Like in the past, MIAS will feature the latest models from the country’s leading auto manufacturers and distributors.

This year’s MIAS will feature the presence of brands like Nissan, Subaru, Peugeot, MG cars, Chevrolet, Maserati, Chery, Foton, Mitsubishi, Geely, Volvo, Changan, and GAC.

Even two-wheels will be represented by Mutt Motorcycles, a UK brand that merges vintage-bike styling and modern-bike performance and reliability, will make its public debut at MIAS.

Besides booths, presentations, and activities from these top brands, MIAS will also have special exhibitors from accessories, aftermarket, and affiliated industries.

Motul Philippines, a supplier of performance motor oil, will have a special treat for enthusiasts as it displays a trio of rarely-seen race cars: the Ferrari 488 Challenge, McLaren GT4 Sprint, and Mercedes SLS GT3.

Method Wheels, known for high-performance off-road wheels for race and street use, will be showing its specially-equipped vehicles at MIAS.

Leading fuel and lubes brand Petron will be MIAS co-presentor and presentor for the Petron-MIAS Custom and Classic Car Competition. BPI will be the exclusive car loans sponsor for MIAS, sure to make acquiring any of the new cars presented at MIAS even easier. The Automobile Association Philippines will be supporting the show and holding its Driver of the Year Awards at MIAS.

Porsche Design will be celebrating 50 years of the firm founded by the grandson and namesake of Ferdinand Porsche, Ferdinand Alexander “Butzi” Porsche.

For some heart-pumping action, Subaru will also bring back the highly popular Russ Swift precision driving show. Guinness World Record holder Russ Swift will be putting the latest Subarus through heart-stopping maneuvers at the World Trade Center three times daily during MIAS.
