And here they go again.

Six members of the Caloocan City police were sacked from their posts and are now facing dismissal from the service after they were accused of obbing a 39-year old man last month.

The incident was only learned after a CCTV footage of the incident was uploaded in the social media and went viral.

Police Maj. Gen. Felipe Natividad, director of the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO), condemned the incident and vowed a full investigation on the incident.

The policemen were identified as Corporals Noel Espejo Sison, 33; Rommel Toribio, 29; Ryan Sammy Gomez Mateo, 32; Jake Barcenilla Rosima, 35; Mark Christian Abarca Cabanilla, 31; and Daryl Calija Sablay, 29, all members of the Drug Enforcement Unit of Caloocan City Police Station.

"This unacceptable behavior deserves the severest sanction from our organization since it runs diametrically opposed to our mandate to serve and protect the people and keep the community safe, peaceful and secured," said Natividad.

"I personally guarantee that due investigation shall be conducted and once proven that they indeed committed this act complained of, I will make sure that they will be held accountable both administratively and criminally," he added.

Based on the report, victim Eddie Yuson was buying food for his family on March 27 in Barangay 117 when the cops approached him and started frisking him.

Later, the cops ere seen forcing Yuson to board a van.

The victim said the cops took his P14,000 but decided not to pursue a case.

Natividad, however, said they would initiate a probe for criminal and administrative charges.

"Scalawags and erring members have no place in the PNP and rest assured that we will never tolerate unlawful acts perpetrated by our members. I enjoin the public in general not to hesitate in giving vital information should they learn of similar cases involving our policemen," said Natividad.
