Singapore Airlines (SIA) will start daily service from Singapore to Davao and Cebu this Friday, April 1, 2022, the carrier announced.

SQ906 will depart from Singapore Changi Airport at 12: 35 PM and arrive at Davao International Airport at 4 PM.

The flight will depart Davao International Airport at 5 PM for Cebu-Mactan International Airport, arriving at 6 PM

SQ906 will continue on its flight and depart Cebu-Mactan International Airport at 6:50PM arriving at Singapore Changi Airport at 10:35 PM.

Fully-vaccinated travellers on all SIA flights will enjoy quarantine-free entry into Singapore, without the need for any on-arrival test or quarantine requirements.

Travellers, regardless of vaccination status, are also allowed to transit through Singapore on almost all SIA and Scoot flights as long as they meet the entry requirements of their final destination.

Following the simplified travel protocols into Singapore, the SIA Group opens up the entire SIA and Scoot network to all eligible customers, operating from 97 destinations in 34 countries to Singapore.

This is the SIA Group’s first flight to Davao and Cebu, since the suspension of SilkAir services in March 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

This will officially mark the launch of SIA’s Cebu and Davao flight routes with the Singapore Airlines livery.

“The commencement of our operations to Davao and Cebu is a testament of our commitment to expand our operations in the region and grow our network," said Singapore Airlines General Manager Philippines, Lee Yong Tat.

"The new service will bring about a more comfortable and seamless travel experience for customers travelling on our regional routes and strengthen Singapore as a destination and premier air hub," he concluded.
