'Ang Probinsyano' promises more rural development


CEBU CITY -- A party-list vowed to bring in more development in the countryside should it earn a return trip to the Congress in the May elections.

Ang Probinsyano Party-list made the promise after it was invited over the weekend in four different provinces to grace proclamation rallies in time for the start of the campaign period for local candidates last Friday (March 25).

In Legazpi City, incumbent Mayor Noel Rosal, who is running for governor in Albay and his wife, former Mayor Geraldine Rosal, now running for mayor, endorsed Ang Probinsyano Partylist as their official partner in the election.

In a statement, Ang Probinsyano Party-list said it has been a consistent partner of Legazpi and the rest of Bicol Province in giving various assistance from financial, educational, medical and livelihood during pandemic.

The party-list said it was the first to respond during typhoons and disasters that hit the region.

Ang Probinsyano Partylist has also embarked on projects like farm-to-market roads, multi-purpose buildings, hospital and office building construction.

Ang Probinsyano Partlist 1st Nominee Rep. Alfred Delos Santos joined the Legazpi motorcade.

Also on the same day, Ang Probinsyano Partylist 3rd nominee Mike Chua attended the proclamation rally at Alfonso, Cavite upon the invitation of Mayor Randy Salamat.

Ang Probinsyano Partylist had several projects in Municipality of Alfonso through its financial assistance program during pandemic and construction of several multi-purpose buildings.

Over at Camiguin Island also on the same day, Ang Probinsyano Party-list 2nd Nominee Representative Edward Delos Santos, graced the proclamation rally at Mambajao Public Market on an invitation of Camiguin Representative XJ Romualdo, who is running for Governor this election, Gov. JJ Romualdo, who is running for Representative for the lone district of the Island and Mayor Yggy Romualdo, running for reelection in Mambajao, the capital of Camiguin.

On Saturday, March 26, Ang Probinsyano Partylist, joined the motorcade and proclamation rally of the Matugas slate in the 1st District of Surigao del Norte.

Ang Probinsyano Rep. Edward Delos Santos was personally invited by the Matugas clan.

In her speech, Mayor Abeth Matugas, reiterated her support for Ang Probinsyano Partylist.

"Let’s support Ang Probinsyano Partylist because they were the ones who gave us big projects here," the mayor said.

Dapa, Surigao del Norte, although the gateway of Siargao Island, remains a 5th class municipality.

Ang Probinsyano has partnered with the municipality for the rural development of farm-to-market roads in the municipality.
