Sara thankful for RoSa movement's support, but remains loyal to Bongbong


CARMEN, North Cotabato—Vice presidential bet and Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio remains loyal to her May 2022 partner presidential candidate Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr, but is thankful for the support coming from the "RoSa" movement just the same.

The RoSa movement is the pairing of presidential candidate and opposition leader Vice President Leni Robredo and Mayor Duterte.

"Nagpapasalamat po ako sa lahat ng mga kaibigan at supporters sa suporta nila sa aking candidacy (Thank you to all my friends and supporters who are backing my candidacy), and I continue to call on everyone na suportahan ang UniTeam ni Bongbong Marcos to support the UniTeam of Bongbong Marcos) and I continue to respect the choices that are made by my friends and supporters," Duterte said on Monday, March 28 to supporters in a rally in the Carmen Municipal Hall here.

Numerous politicians have publicly endorsed the RoSa tandem.

She further underscored her party's goal of unifying Filipinos amid their continued campaign around thr country.

"Ang UniTeam, we continue to campaign sa lahat ng areas ng ating bansa (in all areas of the country) and we continue to reach, try to make, we continue to make the message of unity," she said.

She also reiterated to journalists her birthday wish for her father, President Duterte, which she first made a week before.

"Happy birthday president Duterte I wish you good health and happiness," she concluded.

Mayor Duterte and Marcos comprise the UniTeam due.
