Several streets in Sampaloc area will be temporarily closed starting 9 p.m. on Saturday, March 26, the Manila Public Information Office announced.
The following streets in Sampaloc will be closed to traffic: Fajardo-Earnshaw, Fajardo-Lacson, Jhocson-Earnshaw, Bustillos-Legarda, and Loyola-Cayco streets.
Heavy traffic is also expected around the vicinity from 3 p.m. onwards on Sunday, March 27.
The public is advised to take alternate routes.
Manila Mayoralty candidate Ma. Sheilah “Honey” Lacuna-Pangan and Vice Mayoralty candidate Yul Servo Nieto will hold a proclamation rally on Sunday, March 27 at Kalye Earnshaw (Bustillos) in Sampaloc, Manila.
The event is expected to start at around 5 p.m.
The Honey-Yul tandem is under the political party of Asenso Manilenyo and Aksyon Demokratiko.
