Las Pinas City Mayor Imelda Aguilar is encouraging the Las Piñeros to join the celebration of Earth Hour 2022 today, March 26.
Aguilar told residents and establishments around the city to switch off their lights for one hour from 8:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
She said the observance of Earth Hour being joined by millions of people around the world is a symbol of hope, demonstration of the power of collective action for our future and the planet.
The mayor said this year’s celebration of Earth Hour is a global event to raise awareness about climate change and saving energy.
