Another drug den raided in Zambales; maintainer, 3 others arrested


SUBIC, Zambales – The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency and the police dismantled another drug den in this town on Saturday, as law enforcers’ relentless drive against illegal drugs operation continued to yield positive results.

The raid also resulted in the arrest of its operator and three of his cohorts.

In a buy-bust operation by joint operatives of Zambales police and PDEA Zambales on Saturday (March 26) , the authorities arrested Saad Mohammad, a resident of Purok 6A, Sitio Yagit, Brgy. Calapacuan in Subic.

Mohammad, according to the PDEA agents, is the drug den maintainer.

Also arrested were 37-year-old Jayson Santos Olongapo City, 54-year old Fernando Ramos and Coro Jawatan, both residents of Brgy. Calapacuan, Subic, Zambales.

The operation yielded 13 heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing more or less 15.80 grams of shabu amounting to P109, 020.00, assorted drug paraphernalia and the buy-bust money.

All arrested suspects will be charged for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

The discovery and raid followed five days after the operatives raided a drug den that led to the arrest of six suspected drug personalities at Purok 6A, Penaranda St., Brgy Calapacuan, Subic.
