Navotas City gov’t distributes rice packs in celebration of World Happiness Day 2022

All Navotas City residents each received a five-kilo pack of rice from the city government in celebration of the World Happiness Day 2022.

The city government started the distribution on Saturday, March 19, and will continue for six days.

A total of 80,000 Navoteño families were targeted to receive the rice pack.

The “Saya All Rice for All” is part of a series of pandemic recovery programs of the city government.

“Navoteños have just started to get on their feet and regain their livelihood. However, they are already faced with increases in prices of fuel, electricity, and other necessities. We hope to alleviate their burden as they strive to build a better life,” Mayor Toby Tiangco said.

Earlier, Navotas distributed a five-kilo rice pack and one whole chicken to each of the more than 80,000 Navoteno families in celebration of the city's 116th Founding Anniversary.
