The National Anti-Poverty Commission (NAPC) held the groundbreaking ceremony of its Convergence Project on Housing Settlement in Bohol, the Commission announced on Sunday, March 20.
The ceremony was held in Barangay Guinonocan in the Municipality of Tubigon, Bohol on Friday, March 18, 2022.
“The housing settlement’s target beneficiaries are the fisherfolk of ,” said NAPC.
Present during the ceremony were NAPC Undersecretary Penelope Belmonte, NAPC Policy and Plan Service Unit Director Ferdinand Hombrebueno, Mayor WIlliam Jao, Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Assistant Secretary Rhea Peñaflor, and other representatives from the Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DSHUD).
