During the Commission on Elections’ (Comelec) Pilipinas Debate 2022, Domagoso said he plans to invest in post-harvest facilities and look into the prices of fertilizer to help Filipino farmers.

I really saw that we are a bit neglectful of our farmers),” he saod.

We must invest to enrich the status of our farmers), he said.

The Manila mayor said the country cannot solely rely on imported products as the country has its own fishermen, livestock, and farmers that can also produce in the agricultural sector.

“Food security is the thrust. (That is the direction I will pursue if you give me the opportunity).
