We feel the warm welcome here),” the former Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) secretary said during the UniTeam grand rally at The Tent in Las Piñas last Sunday, March 13.

Heads of the city government, including Mayor Imelda Aguilar and Vice Mayor April Aguilar, supported the event.

I will continue the ‘Build, Build, Build’ as a means to support the livelihoods of Filipino workers),” promised Villar.

One of Villar’s platforms is the push for greater infrastructural development, more specifically, infrastructure pertaining to mobility for both locals and tourists such as roads, highways, and the like.

Villar, a member of the Nacionalista Party (NP), is gunning for a seat in the upper legislative chamber as one of the 12 UniTeam Senate slate members. Presidential bet Bongbong Marcos and his running mate Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte lead the UniTeam.

In the recently released Pulse Asia survey results, Villar ranked third in the Senate race and garnered a 56.2 percent preference ratings. The survey involved 2,400 respondents.
