BTS’ Jimin to sing OST for upcoming Korean drama ‘Our Blues’


K-pop idol group BTS member Jimin will have his first ever original soundtrack (OST) for a Korean drama.

"Jimin will sing the OST of tvN's new Saturday and Sunday drama, ‘Our Blues.’ As the powerful global group BTS member Jimin joins, we plan to revitalize the drama with a masterpiece OST that goes well with the flow of the drama,” said YamYam Entertainment, the producer of the OST for the drama.

Set in Jeju Island, “Our Blues” will premiere on April 9 on tvN and will star Lee Byung-hun, Shin Min-a, Cha Seung-won, Lee Jung-eun, Uhm Jung-hwa, Han Ji-min and Kim Woo-bin.

“Our Blues” is written by Noh Hee-kyung whose credits include “Dear My Friends, “It’s Okay, That’s Love,” “The Most Beautiful Goodbye” and “That Winter, the Wind Blows.”

BTS recently wrapped up their three-day concert “BTS Permission To Dance On Stage-Seoul” held on March 10, 12 and 13 at the Seoul Olympic Stadium.

A total of 45,000 people attended the three-day concert in-person. The number of online viewers via live stream totaled 1.02 million from 191 countries and regions on March 10 and 13.

The March 13 show was also shown live in 3,711 movie theaters in 75 countries and regions, drawing 1.4 million viewers.

At the last show on March 13, BTS performed 20 songs including “ON,” “Black Swan,” “DOPE,” “DNA,” “FAKE LOVE,” “Life Goes On,” “Dynamite,” “IDOL,” and “Butter.”

Setlist variations were made for each show, and the last show included “Spring Day” and “We are Bulletproof: the Eternal.”

“These three days have been like miracles. After a month, after a year and even in the far future, we will always be waiting for you,” said BTS.

BTS will be holding their “BTS Permission to Dance On Stage-Las Vegas” on April 8, 9, 15 and 16 at Allegiant Stadium.
