Senatorial candidate Herbert “Bistek” Bautista on Monday said he is elated to be able to enter the so-called “Magic 12” in the race for the Senate and urged his supporters to sustain their support for him until the May 2022 elections.

“The trust you gave me is priceless,” said Bautista, a three-term mayor of Quezon City.
“You can be sure that not only will I return the favor but exceed expectations as a senator,” he said.
Bautista said he was elated by his success in convincing people that he was a worthy candidate. At the same time, he expressed hoped the support would carry him through until results of the voting are counted.
“To everyone who believe in me, I express thanks from the bottom of my heart...But the journey is just beginning. I appeal for your continued support until Election Day and beyond,” he said.
The former mayor is running under the UniTeam Alliance of former senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos, Jr. and Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte.
