The Drug Enforcement Unit of Taguig City Police conducted a buy-bust operation at about 10:10 p.m. last Friday at Pulong Kendi, Barangay Sta Ana in Taguig that resulted in the arrest of Mendibel.

Seized from him were 11 plastic sachets containing suspected shabu weighing 30 grams worth around P204,000, and a P500 bill used as buy-bust money.

The suspect is now detained at the Taguig City Police Station’s detention facility for proper disposition.

“This is a product of our campaign against illegal drugs in our area of jurisdiction. I would like to thank the public in our jurisdiction for their continued trust and providing information about illegal activities that they see in their areas,” said Macaraeg.
