Lt. Joeven Mogato, head of Bacolod City police Drug Enforcement Unit, said the couple allegedly transacted with a police agent at their house.

Dingcong reportedly receives the contraband or arranges for a meet up to get the item for repacking, according to Mogato.

With the huge volume of shabu recovered, Mogato said the couple can be considered high-value individuals after they allegedly yielded about 113 grams of suspected shabu.

He said the couple has no link to any drug group based on their monitoring. Police are still probing the source of the illegal drugs.

Mogato said that Dingcong was an alleged drug personality of Police Station 8.

The couple, who has yet to be reached for comment, is detained at Police Station 8.
