Pasay City Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano encouraged city residents set to receive their booster shots to visit health centers near their residence and get the jab against COVID-19.
Rubiano said 13 health centers in the city are ready to administer booster shots to those who are scheduled to receive them.
She said the 13 health centers are the Kalayaan Health Center (Tuesday and Thursday); Malibay (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday); San Pablo (Wednesday and Friday); Dona Nena (Thursday and Friday); MIA (Tuesday and Thursday) and M. Dela Cruz (Tuesday at the barangay and Friday at the health center).
The mayor said the other health centers that will administer booster shots are Lagrosa, Cuyegkeng and Villamor Air Base (Wednesday and Friday); San Roque (Friday); Leveriza (Wednesday); Dona Martha (Wednesday,Thursday and Friday); and San Isidro (Monday up to Thursday).
Rubiano emphasized the importance of getting the vaccines for them to be protected against COVID-19.
She said the city government wants to attain zero COVID-19 cases in the city which was achieved before the Holiday season in December last year.
The mayor also said that records submitted by the City Epidemiology and Surveillance Unit (CESU) showed seven confirmed cases of Covid-19 and two new recoveries on March 6.
Rubiano said the seven confirmed cases are from Barangays 32, 76, 119, 121, 171, 183, and 190.
