Magalona sisters remember late father Francis M.

Though more than a decade has passed, the death of Master Rapper Francis Magalona is still vivid for those he left behind.

During his 13th death anniversary, his daughters Maxene and Saab waxed sentimental posting remembrances on their respective social media accounts.

"La fille à Papa (heart emoji) Tu me manques, Pop!," Maxene wrote as caption to their throwback photo. "You may have been gone physically for 13 years but your spirit is alive in the hearts and souls of the Filipinos, now and forever. Especially in mine. I love you! #FrancisMForever."

Maxene also uploaded some throwback family pictures.

Another of her post shows the tomb of Francis, along with the text: "13 years in heaven, forever in my heart and soul. I love and miss you, Pop."

Maxene ordered a pizza as well, relating it's in honor of her late dad who loved it.

She deemed March 6 as a "very meaningful day."

She shared: "Not only did I get to spend it with my brother @elmomagalona as we went to @asapofficial rehearsals for a rap production number that we are going to do for the first time together, we also coincidentally bumped into @glocdash9 whose songs we are going to be performing!"

Maxene said Gloc 9 shared with them some of the beautiful memories he had with their Papa.

He also related how he sang their dad's "Kaleidoscope World" in front of kababayans in Dubai just a week ago, his first gig in two years.

"All of this happened today, on our Pop’s 13th death anniversary. Wow. Just wow," she said. "Ang nasabi ko na lang, 'Ibang klase talaga magparamdam si Papa!'"

Meanwhile, Saab visited her father's tomb along with son Vito.

"Today is the 13th death anniversary of my dad," she wrote. "Pancho was taking a nap and this one wasn’t sleepy at all so I decided to go on a one-on-one date with him to offer flowers to his Lolo Pop."

As seen in the video, Saab and Vito also offered flowers to Luna, Pancho's twin sister whom they lost in 2018.

Francis succumbed to multiple organ failure “secondary to severe sepsis and secondary to pneumonia” in 2009 at the age of 44.
