MB Daily News Update: China not meddling with PH polls

The United Nations Food Agency has warned of global hunger because of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, which recently got more chilling when the invaders launched a rocket attack on a nuclear plant in Zaporizhzhia, which is the largest such facility in Europe.

The Department of Health (DOH) is now awaiting the experts’ recommendation on a possible second booster shot that would further protect the populace, particularly the elderly and those with comorbidities, against any other mutation of Covid-19.

China has also pledged that it will not meddle in the forthcoming Philippine elections, and has said that it would be ready to work with the next administration. It also said it was confident that it could embark on a joint oil exploration at the South China Sea with the Philippines.

This are among the major stories this Saturday afternoon, March 5, 2022.
