Las Pinas City LGU to push strict compliance with PDITR strategy

Las Pinas City Mayor Imelda Aguilar said the city government will continue to push for the strict compliance with the Prevent, Detect, Isolate, Treat, and Reintegration (PDITR) strategy to maintain the low number of COVID-19 cases in the city’s 20 barangays.

Aguilar issued an executive order on Feb. 28 on this after the Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) for the management of Emergeing Infectious Diseases, on the recommendation of the Metro Manila Council (MMC), placed the National Capital Region (NCR) under Alert Level 1 starting March 1 until March 15.

Under the EO, all establishments, persons or activities are allowed to operate, work or be undertaken at full capacity but compliance with the health protocols must be strictly implemented.

The mayor said based on the report of the City Health Office (CHO), 15 out of the 20 barangays recorded zero case of COVID-19.

Aguilar said the CHO recorded seven active cases of COVID-19 on March 2 in Barangays Manuyo Dos (two) and Talon Dos (two), Almanza Dos, Pamplona Tres, and Pamplona Uno with one case each.
