3 foreign kidnappers killed, 2 Chinese victims rescued in Parañaque operation


Three foreign nationals were killed in a firefight that erupted when operatives of the police's Anti-Kidnapping Group (AKG) rescued two Chinese kidnap victims in Paranaque City on Sunday, Feb. 27.

AKG director Police Brig. Gen. Rudolph Dimas said the operation in FB Homes in Paranaque City stemmed from the arrest of a certain Lorriel Asaytono Lozano, the caretaker of the house in Las Piñas City were kidnap victim Lin Qingchang was detained.

Lin was kidnapped on Feb. 26 along Arnaiz Avenue in Pasay City.

"This first rescue operation led to the joint operation of the AKG in Parañaque City," said Dimas.

During the raid, AKG operatives rescued Xiangqin Zhou and Li You-Ci.

Zhou was kidnapped on Feb. 3 at the corner of San Andres Street and MH Del Pillar, Manila while Li was kidnapped on Feb. 14 in Pasay City;

But it also resulted in a brief firefight that resulted in the death of their three Chinese captors.

Seized from the crime scene were assorted firearms, assorted ammunitions, military uniforms, assorted fake vehicle plate numbers, assorted fake conduction stickers, one black Toyota Innova motor vehicle with conduction sticker S3 P364, and scattered white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu.
