Because of the pandemic, the event was held online for the second time this year. Participants joined the virtual ‘Walk for Life’ through the Facebook page of the Sangguniang Laiko ng Pilipinas, CBCP News and other social media pages of the Church.

“It is time to raise our voices in support of life. Join us in our annual celebration of Walk for Life. This year’s theme is ‘Sulong Laiko... Halalang Marangal tungo sa Pag-angat ng Buhay,’” Raymond Daniel Cruz, Sangguniang Laiko ng Pilipinas president said over Radio Veritas.

“The Sangguniang Laiko ng Pilipinas will continue to support and promote the dignity of life. The lay faithful plays a very important role in electing the right leaders for the country, leaders who will promote the dignity of life for the more than 100 million Filipinos,” he added.
