Frontliners Ang Bida Party-list nominee and former Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) spokesperson Celine Pialago went live on Facebook Thursday afternoon, Feb. 24 to do something that she said had long been requested by her followers--a makeup tutorial video.

The video, which was 18 minutes long, began with--obviously enough--a makeup-less Pialago who had just finished her campaign sorties for the day.
The former beauty pageant contestant was quick to point out though that her live video was meant for female followers who have long been asking her about her make-up routine.

Pialago said that while she has received the requests even back in her MMDA days, she has always been hesitant to post such video on social media because "it didn't have anything to do with my work with the MMDA".
She said she would have been bashed online if she posted a makeup tutorial when she was still the agency's spokesperson.
But now, she said, "Civilian na tayo, pwede ko nang i-share (I'm a civilian now, I'm now allowed to share this)."

During her live, Pialago shared that she was usually teased as a child over her "dark" complexion.
"Lagi akong tinatawag na 'negra', ganun. Yun ang laging pam-bully sa akin noong bata ako (I was always called 'negra' and stuff. That's how I was bullied when I was younger). Pero (But) actually I don't care," said the aspiring congresswoman.
