P3-M shabu seized in drug stings; 5 arrested


CAMP OLIVAS, City of San Fernando, Pampanga –- Police authorities seized more than P3 million worth of shabu and arrested five drug peddlers in separate anti-illegal drug operations in Pampanga.

Elements of Guagua Police conducted a buy-bust operation at Brgy. San Matias, Guagua, Pampanga that resulted in the arrest of four suspects identified as Johaiver Sober alias “Justin," 18; Lance Jefferson Alba, 20; a certain Jelanour; 18 and Roberto Acerden, 56, on Feb. 18.

Seized from the suspects were a brown sling-bag, a small weighing scale, Samsung Galaxy cellphone, a white Toyota Vios with plate number WMI 355; six pieces of medium to large size transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu weighing approximately 240 grams with an estimated value of P1,632,000, and four pieces of P500 which were used as marked money.

On Feb. 19, operatives of San Simon Police conducted a buy-bust operation in Brgy. Sta Monica, San Simon, Pampanga that resulted in the arrest of Alimar Ali alias “Mar,” 31, and a resident of Brgy. Mabiga, Mabalacat City, Pampanga.

Confiscated from him were transparent plastic bags and heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets all containing suspected shabu weighing more than 205 grams with estimated value of P1,394,000, an ID card, an android cellphone, body bag, P500 bills, P9,500 boodle money, and one black/yellow Yamaha sporty motorcycle with no plate number.

Charges for violations of Sec. 5 and 11, Art. II of RA 9165 will be filled against the suspects.
