A 28-year-old man tagged as one of the most wanted persons in Manila was arrested by police at the corner of East Zamora Street and President Quirino Avenue in Pandacan district on Friday, Feb. 18.
Police Lt. Ramel Lucero, chief of Manila Police District theft and robbery section, said the suspect, identified as Jeffrey Garilao Reyes alias "Jepoy", was nabbed at about 1 p.m.
Lucero said Reyes was apprehended by virtue of a warrant of arrest for robbery issued by Judge Tita Alisuag of Regional Trial Court Branch 01 of Manila on Feb. 15, 2022.
According to the police report, the suspect was one of the most wanted persons in the area of Pandacan, and his victims were drivers of 10-wheel trucks that pass through the area. (Terence Ranis)
