The mid-range Civic has arrived
As a follow-up to the recent launch of the 11th generation all-new Honda Civic Turbo, Honda Cars Philippines, Inc. (HCPI) offers customers more choices with the arrival of the Civic Turbo in V variant. Customers may check out the All-New Civic V Turbo starting February 15, 2022.
Up front, the V variant gets LED Headlightswith Daytime Running Lights (DRLs) and LED fog lights. For the wheels, the mid-range V variant features 17-inch alloys. The entire rear end has also been redone with a new pair of LED taillights that elegantly illuminates in the night.
For in-car entertainment, it comes with a seven-inch touchscreen display audio with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay that is connected to an eight-speaker audio system. Other standard convenience features on the V variant include automatic climate control, rear air vents, and a seven-inch digital display with an analog speedometer. The digital display is customizable, capable of displaying audio or vehicle information, selectable through the steering wheel-mounted controls.
One of the main highlights is the 1.5-liter four-cylinder DOHC VTEC turbo engine found in all grades. All variants come with a turbo and produces 178-PS and 240-Nm of torque. All trims of the Civic are paired with a Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT). This compact sedan gets distinct driving modes including Econ and Normal.
As Honda continues to pursue “Safety for Everyone,” Honda SENSING now comes standard in all variants as well. This is in line withHonda’s 2050 global environment and safety mission to realize carbon neutrality and zero traffic collision fatalities.
The Honda SENSING safety suite has the following features: Collision Mitigation Braking System (CMBS); Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) with Low-Speed Follow (LSF); Lane Keeping Assist System (LKAS); Road Departure Mitigation System with Lane Departure Warning (RDM with LDW); Auto High-Beam (AHB); and Lead Car Departure Notification System (LCDN). The new Honda SENSING system uses a single monocular camera with a wider field of view combined with improved software offering better vehicle, motorcycle, bicycle, pedestrian, and road marking recognition.
In addition, it also has in-demand safety features such as Speed Sensing Door Locks, Multi-View Reverse Camera, and Smart Entry. Other features include Driver and Front Passenger Airbags, Side Airbags, Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS), Electronic Brake Force Distribution (EBD), Vehicle Stability Assist (VSA), Hill Start Assist (HSA), Emergency Stop Signal (ESS), Child Lock, ISOFIX Child Seat Anchor, Security Alarm, and immobilizer.
With these superior safety features, the all-new Civic boasts a 5-star safety rating under the new 2021 ASEAN NCAP assessment, giving customers better safety and peace of mind on the road.
