In Tangere’s survey conducted on Feb. 11 to 12, it was revealed that former Sen. Ferdinand Marcos was the top bet for president with 51.83 percent of voter preference, followed by Domagoso with 23.5 percent, and Vice President Leni Robredo with 14.71 percent.

In the fourth and fifth spots were Sen. Panfilo “Ping” Lacson with 5.38 percent and Sen. Manny Pacquiao with 3.17 percent, respectively.

Domagoso’s numbers rose to 23.5 percent from 22.17 percent last Feb. 5.

In the survey conducted last Jan. 18, it showed that voter preference of the Manila mayor which was at 16.75 percent also rose compared to the 16.29 percent last Jan. 3.

The recent Tangere survey showed a steady and consistent decline in the numbers of Marcos Jr. but still remain as the most preferred presidential candidate.

Aksyon Demokratiko's campaign manager Lito Banayo had earlier cited that the increase in voters' preference of Domagaso is mainly due to his clear platform and proof of achievements.

“The messaging is one which is clear cut. We have proof of our achievement in the City of Manila. We can replicate it all over the country, and we have the platforms, the programs to show that it can be done,” he said.

Under his 10-point Bilis Kilos” platform, Domagoso vowed to address poverty, hunger, unemployment, inequality and social injustice in the country by focusing on providing the minimum basic needs such as housing, education, health care, as well as the creation of more job opportunities.
