Slight upward trend of COVID-19 infections in Metro Manila ‘feels like Valentine spike’ – OCTA

The slight increase in the number of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) infections in Metro Manila “feels like a Valentine spike,” an OCTA Research fellow said.

“632 new cases in the National Capital Region (NCR). With mostly fresh cases, this feels like a Valentine spike. The figure shows that it is above the Jan. 24 projections. Let’s continue to practice health protocols,” said OCTA fellow Dr. Guido David in a tweet on Wednesday evening, Feb. 16.
