Spice Girls are the first actual people to become a Lego set

The iconic toy company releases the BrickHeadz Spice Girls Tribute set in time for the girl group’s 25th anniversary

Spice Girls are making a comeback but not for new music or a tour as fans hope. This time, the British girl group behind hits such as “Wannabe,” “Two Become One,” and “Spice up Your Life” becomes toy collectibles as Lego releases the BrickHeadz Spice Girls Tribute set.

The first to spotlight real people, the BrickHeadz Spice Girls Tribute set pays homage to the group’s legacy as it celebrate its 25 anniversary this 2022. What will surely delight the fans is how the set interpreted the signature looks of Melanie Brown ("Scary Spice"), Melanie Chisholm ("Sporty Spice"), Emma Bunton ("Baby Spice"), Geri Halliwell ("Ginger Spice"), and Victoria Beckham ("Posh Spice")—think of the iconic Union Jack dress, animal print catsuit, and quintessential baby pink dress. The 578 lego piece-set also includes a baseplate and microphones. Yes, you can now recreate your favorite Spice Girls moment in your room.

“There are few bands that defined pop culture in the same way the Spice Girls did back in the 1990s, and it’s been such fun bringing the band to life in our BrickHeadz style,” Lego designer Daniel Squirrell said. “This is the first time we have created a music band in BrickHeadz form and what we really, really wanted was to capture the essence and nostalgia of the Spice Girls, through their iconic looks. I am delighted with the set and I hope the fans are too.”
