Phoenix Petroleum ramps up ‘rewards-offer’ to loyal customers


To further reinforce its market share, third largest player Phoenix Petroleum Philippines Inc. has partnered with affiliate-companies in ramping up rewards-offer to loyal customers.

Via the use of lifestyle app Limitless, Phoenix Petroleum-affiliate Dito Telecommunity is allowing its registered users to corner promo prizes that are being dangled to patrons of the various companies of businessman Dennis Uy.

Awaiting the winners as prizes in the final draw would include one year of free Phoenix fuel or Phoenix Super LPG supply; Family Mart grocery package; three Samsung S series phones and 25 Limitless vouchers.

As noted by Limitless Brand and Marketing Category Manager Marc Salboro, “we partnered with Dito to provide our users access to reliable connectivity.”

He added “this is our way of encouraging them to choose the safer and more secure cashless option whenever they transact with our partner-brands.”

The new promo will cover valid transactions until February 15, 2022 – and that will enable registered users to a free Dito coupon redeemable via the Limitless app – and that will also entitle them to one raffle entry.

As explained, the covered transactions will include a minimum of P1,500 Phoenix fuel purchase; a minimum spend of P700 on Family Mart products; or at least P1,800 worth of Autoworx Plus service – and these deals must be aided with the use of the Limitless app at participating stations and stores.

“An order of Phoenix Super LPG 11-kilogram via the Limitless Home Delivery button also counts as a valid transaction,” the Uy-led oil firm noted.

Dito Chief Commercial Officer Evelyn Jimenez similarly emphasized that “our partnership with Limitless reflects our goals toward building closer ties with other brands in order to serve our customers better.”

In both the deregulated telecommunications and downstream oil industries where competition for customer patronage is intense, marketing promos and the offer of rewards are among the enticements dangled by companies to gain sizeable fraction of the market.

And in this age of thriving digitalization, mobile apps are also flourishing as key partners of corporates in serving their customers with ease and at the speed of transaction that they would prefer.
