Malabon City Mayor Antolin "Lenlen" Oreta III on Friday, Feb. 11, led the inauguration of the new Super Health Center (SHC) located on Durian Road in Barangay Potrero.
This is the second SHC built by the local government after opening the first center in Barangay Catmon in October 2021.
"Patuloy tayong magtulong-tulong para mapaganda pa naten ang kalusugan ng bawat pamilyang Malabonian (Let us continue to help each other to improve the health of every Malabonian family)," the mayor said.
According to the local government, the center will offer pharmacy, laboratory, and radiological services in addition to the regular health services like medical consultations. It is expected to operate for 24 hours, seven days a week by March 2022.
Councilor Jose Lorenzo "Enzo" Oreta said the opening of the new SHC is one of the local government’s steps to ensure the health of the families in the city.
Representative Jaye Lacson-Noel, Vice-mayor Ninong Dela Cruz and other city councilors were also present during the inauguration.
The local government said that there are two more SHCs in barangays Longos and Tonsuya which are expected to be opened in March 2022.
